Detailed review of Balod and Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki districts under Sushasan Tihar 2026

Special emphasis laid on speedy disposal of pending revenue cases, accelerating PM housing construction and expanding the PM Suryaghar scheme

Raipur, In a virtual meeting chaired from residential office, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday reviewed development works and public welfare schemes in Balod and Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki districts under Sushasan Tihar 2026. He assessed progress in revenue administration, development projects, agriculture, health, education, law and order, and key government schemes with district officials.

Chief Minister said Sushasan Tihar is aimed at strengthening trust between the government and citizens through direct public engagement and effective grievance redressal. Emphasizing timely, transparent and sensitive governance, he directed officials to work with accountability and ensure that every eligible beneficiary receives the benefits of government schemes.

Emphasis on speedy disposal of revenue cases and the SWAMITVA scheme

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai directed officials to expedite the disposal of pending revenue cases, including mutation, partition, demarcation and map correction matters, with priority given to long-pending cases. He also instructed officials to accelerate implementation of the SWAMITVA Scheme and the updating of revenue records.

Instructions to advance the Pradhan Mantri Awas and PM Suryaghar schemes in mission mode

Chief Minister directed officials to complete the maximum number of approved houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana before the monsoon and expand mason training to accelerate construction. He also reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana and instructed officials to intensify awareness efforts to achieve the target of installing five lakh solar plants across the state by 2027.

Ensure farmers do not face shortage of fertilizers and seeds; promote the use of nano fertilizers

Chief Minister Shri Sai directed officials to ensure adequate availability of fertilizers and seeds for the Kharif season and promote awareness of nano urea and nano DAP among farmers. He also stressed timely coverage of eligible farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, completion of Agristack registration, prompt paddy lifting, and coordinated efforts with Industries Department to establish rice mills at the local level.

Special focus on women’s empowerment, livelihoods and eradication of malnutrition

Chief Minister stressed strengthening the livelihoods of women self-help groups under the Bihan Scheme and increasing their participation in the production of ready-to-eat food items. He also reviewed the progress of nutrition programmes and directed effective implementation and monitoring of measures to eliminate malnutrition. Officials informed that 20,245 women achieved status of Lakhpati Didis in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district and 36,312 in Balod, while Auratola has emerged as a model Lakhpati Gram promoting women’s empowerment and rural livelihoods.

Instructions to ensure pre-monsoon preparedness for health services

The Health Department was directed to ensure pre-monsoon preparedness for seasonal diseases and maintain adequate stocks of essential medicines at health facilities. Reviewing key public health programmes, including the TB-Free Panchayat Campaign and institutional deliveries, he also called for preventive measures, awareness campaigns and treatment arrangements to address the rising incidence of dog bites in Balod district.
